MAR Visits PACE Pinellas

On Tuesday, February 3rd, MAR had the opportunity to visit PACE Center For Girls to lead an educational presentation focused on pollinators, bees, and practical sustainability efforts. This visit aligns with MAR’s ongoing commitment to community education and hands-on learning experiences.

MAR team members Kyla and Abby guided students through a discussion on the important role pollinators play in supporting ecosystems, agriculture, and biodiversity. Together, they explored how bees contribute to food systems and plant life, as well as some of the challenges pollinators face due to habitat loss and environmental changes.

A highlight of the visit was learning about sustainable bee hotels and how simple, recycled materials can be repurposed to create supportive habitats for pollinators. This hands-on component helped demonstrate that small, mindful actions can make a meaningful environmental impact.

MAR is grateful for the opportunity to connect with the PACE community and share its mission of regeneration through education and action. Visits like these allow MAR to continue inspiring environmental awareness and stewardship while empowering students with practical ways to care for the planet in their everyday lives.

From land stewardship to community education, MAR is working to model what a regenerative future can look like. Your donation helps us continue this work, expand our reach, and deepen our environmental impact.

Be part of the regeneration and support MAR today!
