Moccasin Lake Invasive Species Removal

Join MAR and the City of Clearwater for a hands-on morning of environmental restoration at the beautiful Moccasin Lake Nature Park.

Together, we’ll pull invasive plant species to help carve out a brand-new nature trail and make a lasting impact on one of Clearwater’s most cherished green spaces.

Whether you’re a plant enthusiast, a Tampa Bay local, or someone who just wants to get their hands dirty for a good cause, this is the morning for you!

What to expect:

  • Guided invasive species removal to restore native habitat
  • Help build a new trail through Moccasin Lake Park
  • Work alongside passionate community members
  • Learn why invasive plants are a threat and what we can do about it

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen and hat
  • Work gloves (we will have extras!)

All necessary tools will be provided, along with water and beverages. Shaded work areas are available throughout the event.
