Join MAR & Pinellas County for a winter morning of hands-on environmental restoration at Lake Seminole Water Management Area. This volunteer-driven native tree planting event will support local ecosystems, improve habitat, and strengthen the long-term resilience of this important watershed.

Guided by experienced staff, volunteers will learn proper planting techniques and ecological best practices while making a tangible impact on the local environment. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or brand new to restoration work, this event is a meaningful way to give back to your community.

What to Expect:

  • Guided native tree planting
  • Instruction on site preparation, planting, and mulching
  • Learn about the species being planted and their role in Florida’s ecosystems
  • A rewarding outdoor experience in a cool, winter lakeside setting
